Canadian “funk-o-nauts”, Wet Paint return with their latest single, which definitely lives up to the title. “Gold Lights” features plenty of electrifying production- smooth synthesizers and a hard-hitting beat- but where the track really works its magic is in its instrumental sampling. Smooth sax carries this track through beginning to end, riding a wave of funky rhythms via additional backing horns, guitar, and piano.
